DISCLOSURE OF LARGE SHAREHOLDING – JAN PETTERSSON AND ASSOCIATED COMPANIES

Reference is made to the stock exchange announcements made by Aqua Bio
Technology ASA ("ABT" or the "Company") on 21 August 2023 regarding the result
of a subsequent offering (the "Subsequent Offering") and on 24 August 2023
regarding the Company convening a extraordinary general meeting (the "EGM")
whereby the EGM, among other things, resolved the issuance of new shares in
connection with the Subsequent Offering as further described therein (the "New
Shares").

Following issuance of these New Shares, and upon registration of the
corresponding share capital increase in the Norwegian Register of Business
Enterprises and subsequent delivery of such shares, Jan Pettersson and
associated companies will hold a total of 7,076,271 shares in the Company,
representing 14,92 % of the total number of shares and voting rights.

The disclosure obligation was triggered by Jan Pettersson and associated
companies crossing below the 15 % threshold of total number of voting rights and
shares in the Company due to dilution following the Subsequent Offering. The
threshold was crossed on 21 August 2023.
