More than 280 brands from 350 independent producers competed in 30 different cosmetics categories. The products were evaluated by a panel of professional beauty experts, based on ten different criteria, including efficacy and performance. The Independent Beauty Expo contest is aimed at recognizing and showcasing independent beauty brands, i.e. brands competing with the industry majors.
